This section aims to provide key information for parents and carers of children and young people, who have a wide spectrum of additional needs. We use “additional needs” as a broad term to cover children and young people who need extra support, temporarily or long term. This might be because they have a learning difficulty, a physical disability, a specific behaviour problem and/or a sensory impairment.
As providers of a wide range of services to children, pre-birth to five, and their families, we are keen to ensure the needs of our community are appropriately met. We have undertaken the attached research to look at facilities and services within Castle Point. We hope this report is useful and provides a valuable resource.
