About the Children's Centres
yourchildrencentres website has been created to compliment the services and advice offered at the Children Centres by extending it to parents in the comfort of their own homes. In addition to those families regularly using the services or logging on to look at our latest projects, it will reach out to those parents, child care providers and families that are not yet using the services provided at the Children’s Centres.
The Children's Centres bring together a wide range of service for children from birth to five years and their families. The centres create a one stop shop in the community for parents and providers of childcare and family support.
By bringing together a range of services, the centres will make it easier for parents, providers of child care and families to access information and provide practical help for their children and themselves, helping more families benefit in the critical early years of their children’s lives.
Attached to the site are useful links to organisations such as Job Centre Plus, The National Childminding Association, South Essex Primary Care Trust, Disability advice and information. In additional to this the website will be proactive and encourage families to continually log on for the latest news effecting children and families from both a local and a national source, events, photographs, stories and project progress such as our Spud-in-a-Bucket children’s growing initiative, health eating recipes and much more.
You can reach this audience and present your goods and services to them, through our community advertising page. The cost of an advertisement is only £15 for 13weeks (quarter). Each advertisement will appear under the relevant classified heading. If you have your own website this can be hyperlinked free of charge.
